A new search functionality has been built-in to VS 2012/TFS 2012. However, this new search has some limitations compared to the Search Work Items plug-in, e.g.:

- No support for OR in queries (this is really a huge disadvantage)

No support for templates, which limits the standard search to ID, Title, Description. We have some additional fields in our items that would be nice to put into a template.
